Mary Barkocy
Mary serves as a birth and postpartum doula with a heart to provide steady, compassionate support to mothers and families as they step into one of the most sacred and tender seasons of life. She is married to her handyman husband, Caleb, and together they are knee deep in the good ole days of early parenthood. After having her son three years ago, she really saw the deep need for moms to have support rooted in faith. She strives to be that grounded, steady presence, rooted in Christ so mothers/families can lean on her and feel connected, calm and confident!
Mary sees beauty in the natural, physiological design of birth. She believes that when women lean into surrender and trust God’s design for their bodies, beauty will unfold no matter what their story looks like. She believes knowledge is power, and that women deserve to feel safe, seen, held, and informed every step of the way.
LOVES: Iced oat milk lattes, long walks, nature, her vegetable garden, adventures with her family, anything creative, watching sunrises and sunsets, cooking homemade meals and treats for her loved ones, swing sets, her church, thrifting and worship music.
